Treatment Options
Strength, Balance, Integrity
1
Relaxation
Relaxation massage is beneficial for stress and mental health management, anxiety reduction and overall good health. However, If an injury occurs or there is an imbalance causing asymmetry in the body, then the benefit of relaxation massage become short lived. You now require massage therapy.
Massage
2
Therapeutic
Therapeutic treatments begin with a consultation and assessment. The therapist will develop an individual treatment approach that is discussed with you. They will be able to utilize different tools and treatments in their practice to best help you achieve your goals.
Clients may be educated in exercise rehab and posture control. Stretches done at home will enhance the progress made in the treatment room.
3
Pregnancy
Your therapist will prepare a side lying set up for your comfort and safety before your appointment. This treatment will address the different pains and discomforts you may encounter with your pregnancy as well as other unrelated musculoskeletal dysfunctions.
CranioSacral
1
CranioSacral Therapy
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on therapy of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a soft touch, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system, which has been shown to improve the functioning of the central nervous system, as well as many other systems of the body, such as digestive, musculoskeletal, respiratory, circulatory, and more. CST has also been shown to help with the physical components related to such somatic conditions as Post Traumatic Stress, depression and anxiety.
IASTM is a type of manual therapy that utilizes specialized tools that massage and scrape the skin gently. The used of a set of stainless steel instruments to help soft tissue injuries to the connective tissues, muscles, neurological tissues, and skin.

Thermo-therapy
1
Thermo-therapy (Hotstone)
Hot stone massage utilizes heated stones either placed strategically around the body or used to massage the tissue directly. The heat of the stones brings on increased blood and lymphatic circulation by relaxing and opening blood vessels, further allowing muscle tissue to release. Adding to this core benefit, hot stone allows for the body to increase metabolism, better filtering food and toxins. This may also help boost the immune system as well as balance hormones. When muscles are able to fully relax, this will increase joint mobility, decrease stress and anxiety as well asimprove one’s sleep.
When using hot stone massage incorporated into atreatment-based approach, we are able to reduce muscle spasticity faster, allowing for deeper treatment of dysfunctional tissue. This improves efforts in reducing pain and dysfunction.
Lymphatic
1
Complex Decongestive Therapy
CDT is the most effective treatment for chronic extremity lymphedema. Primary lymphedema (congenital) and secondary lymphedema (due to a damaged lymphatic system) respond extremely well to this gentle, non-invasive and highly-effective therapy. CDT is comprised of 4 pillars involving Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Compression Therapy, Exercise, and Skin Care.
2
Lymphatic Drainage
MLD is a gentle manual treatment which improves the function of the lymphatic system throughout the body. MLD is also an effective treatment for post-surgical swelling, post-traumatic edema (as with sports injuries), migraine headaches, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and other conditions involving edema.
Breast
1
Breast Massage
Breast massage uses gentle massage techniques directly on the breast tissue to promote lymphatic flow and scar tissue work to relieve pains & discomforts that are associated with larger breast tissue, breast cancer treatments, reconstruction to the tissue, premenstrual congestion, and pregnancy.
2
Breast Rehabilitation
Clients going through surgical changes with their breast tissue can benefit from Breast Rehabilitation. Discomforts and restrictions post surgery, radiation/chemotherapy and/or reconstruction as well as different conditions that can arise such as seromas, cording and scar tissue formation can be treated.
Myofascial
1
Myofascial Cupping
Cupping involves the use of silicon suction cups to lift the tissue up to stretch & separate the layers of superficial fascia.
There are numerous benefits to cupping such as increasing circulation, stretching soft tissues, separating adhesions, increasing fluid movement between joints, stimulating digestive movements, and more.
The cups do cause markings on the skin which will fade within a week. Cupping marks are caused by the release of dead static blood, lymph, cellular debris, pathogens and toxins being released to the superficial tissue. They are not painful and can range from no mark to a deep purple.
2
Stretch Therapy
Stretch Therapy utilizes active isolated stretching (AIS) as a method of lengthening the muscle and releasing fascial tissue. AIS allows the body to repair itself and to prepare for daily activities.
In this method the stretch is held for a duration of 2 seconds, this allows the targeted muscle to lengthen without triggering the protective stretch reflex of the antagonistic muscle contraction. As stated in the name these stretches are active, meaning a trained therapist moves the patients body part during the stretch, this active movement allows optimal flexibility to be achieved. A stretch rope or band is usually incorporated into these movements as an aid in reaching full range of motion during this active stretching technique.

Keniso Taping
Keniso taping is taping technique providing support and stability to musculature and joints, but does not restrict range of motion. Taping helps to prolonged the effects of soft tissue manipulation therapy and can help treat orthopaedic, neuromuscular, neurological, postural correction, ligament and tendon injuries, Carpal tunnel syndrome, back instabilities, headaches, shoulder issues, and several other conditions.
Taping may be used on clients ranging from pediatric to geriatric.
